Laguna Elementary School is located in the beautiful ranch lands of western Petaluma, minutes from downtown. Built in 1906, Laguna School maintains the historic flavor of a one-room schoolhouse, yet today houses two modern, multi-age classrooms serving Transitional Kindergarten through Sixth Grade.

Laguna School’s educational philosophy is based on the education of the ‘whole child’ in a safe and nurturing environment. Emphasis is on a strong academic program, balanced with project-based curriculum, hands-on enrichment activities, differentiated instruction, art, music and a comprehensive technology program. We offer a private school experience in a public school setting. Our curriculum is specifically tailored to meet the individual needs of each and every child. Our faculty and staff are dedicated to fostering the personal best from each child and developing a strong partnership between home and school.
